CARMICHAELS WOMEN’S CIVIC CLUB is seeking sponsors to purchase wreaths that will be placed on veterans’ graves at Laurel Point Cemetery in Carmichaels. A remembrance ceremony will be held at Laurel Point at noon on Dec. 14, National Wreaths Across America Day, when remembrance wreaths will be placed on graves of fallen veterans at more than 800 locations across the country and overseas. Cost per wreath is $15. Deadline to sponsor wreaths is Nov. 22. Checks should be made to Carmichaels Women’s Civic Club and sent to P.O. Box 453, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
