The annual Halloween parade sponsored by the Carmichaels Area Chamber of Commerce will be held Sunday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. Line up will start at 1:30 p.m. in the Yoskovich Funeral Home parking lot.
The parade will be led to the town square for judging by the Carmichaels Area High School band, under the direction of Jason Baily. The master of ceremonies will be Joe Cybak. Prizes will be awarded to age groups 0-5 and 6-12, in the various categories.
Trick-or-treat at Brodak’s Shop n Save will follow directly after the parade. Cumberland Township and Carmichaels Borough trick or treat will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m, after the parade.
Christmas Snowflakes are again available to the public at $385 each. A plaque will be on display in the town square during the holiday season.

It was also announced that the Salvation Army will be ringing bells at the Shop N’ Save during the Christmas holiday season.
