Briget E. Avery, 47, of Mather, died Saturday, March 17, 2012, in Donnell House, Washington.
She was born February 5, 1965, in Washington, daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Clemons Avery.
After attending Washington High School, she went on to be employed by ARC as a social worker.
She loved her children and grandchildren, as well as crafting, jewelry-making and, especially, her flowers.
She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Canonsburg.
Surviving are two daughters, Deiasha Whitaker and Shai Beckner, both of Mather; four brothers, Albert L. (Linda) Clemons, Larry A. (Sharon) Avery, Charles E. Avery and Gregory R. Avery, all of Washington; three sisters, Sheron Gatling, Tynie Avery and Barbara J. Franell, all of Washington; four grandchildren, Hailei N. Avery and Jayden, Treadale and Tzion Whitaker; her companion of many years, Delmarcus Goodlow; and many nieces and nephews.
