William Roupe, 96, of Washington, died Thursday, May 31, 2012, in Respi Center, Waynesburg.
He was born August 28, 1915, in Sycamore, son of the late George and Vaughn Hayes Roupe.
Mr. Roupe was a retired machinist.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Roupe was a very religious man who formerly attended Church of God. He loved wildlife and all of God’s creatures.
Surviving are a nephew and wife, who considered Mr. Roupe to be his grandfather, and their three sons; and several other nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his first wife, Alice Cumberledge; his second wife, Emma Roupe; and two sisters, Alma Kolat and Ethel Anderson.
