Man assaulted    August 31

Uniontown police said Gerald Anton of Uniontown was assaulted outside his residence on Shady Lane at 10:41 p.m. Saturday.

Man charged    August 30

Robert D. Riggar Jr., 32, of Connellsville was charged with harassment after he allegedly punched a vehicle owned by Megan D. Hall, 21, of Connellsville at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus and spit chewing tobacco on the windshield at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, state police said.

Man charged    August 27

State police said Leslie R. Hall, 26, of Uniontown was charged with fleeing and eluding police and possession of drugs and prohibited weapons after Hall allegedly attempted to lead police on a chase. According to police, Cpl. Jaime Bauer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Hall, who was allegedly driving an illegal motorcycle, on Access Road at 11:07 a.m. Aug. 19. Hall attempted to flee but lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the police cruiser. Police said no one was injured as a result of the incident.

Jerome Lee of Uniontown was cited for public drunkenness following an incident in Uniontown early Wednesday, city police said.

Charges filed    August 25

Uniontown police said four teenagers are facing charges following an altercation on Murray Avenue at 11:10 p.m. Monday. Additionally, police said Uniontown residents Theresa Dugan, Sarah Jordan and Loise Keenist were each charged with disorderly conduct and harassment for their role in the incident.

Uniontown police probed a report of shots fired in Pershing Court at 2:23 a.m. Wednesday.

Man charged    August 23

State police said Eric C. Gibbons, 29, of Uniontown was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly pushed Theresa Simpson, 48, of Uniontown to the ground five times between 9 and 11 p.m. July 17 at 258 Edison St.

Theft reported    August 20

Uniontown police said golf clubs owned by Gregory Kennedy of Uniontown were stolen from a location on Morgantown Road at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Man charged    August 19

Masontown police said Elmer Engle, 21, of Leckrone was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Engle was pulled over in the borough on Friday, and found to have a blood-alcohol content of .221 percent.
