The numbers are in, and though District 7 will be shaken up a bit, the impact on area WPIAL teams won't be felt too much for the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. Classification numbers vary from sport to sport, but are determined by the number of boys and girls in grades 9-11, and are used for a two-year scheduling period.

Point Park men’s and women’s basketball teams came to Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus on Tuesday and left with a sweep of the night’s doubleheader. But that was only half the story.

Greene hunter bags "monster" Ohio buck

Ryan Grandel of Jefferson in Greene County is shown with the Pope and Young buck he bagged in Ohio. Grandel followed the buck’s movements for months by monitoring several trail cameras he strategically placed in the area where the buck traveled.
