Now in its 22nd year, it has evolved into a two-day event, featuring arts and crafts vendors, food and a diverse selection of musical entertainment. McClellandtown Volunteer Fire Co. prepares for annual car show The McClellandtown Volunteer Fire Co. and the Summit Mr. Early Iron Car Club will sponsor the 39th annual "Old Fashion Car Show" and hog roast Sept. 12, the longest running car show in Fayette County. Waynesburg Univesrsity Players open audtions for 'All the Way Home' The Waynesburg University Players, under the direction of Edward L. Powers, will present the award-winning drama, "All the Way Home," Nov. 3 through Nov. 6. Boys who could appear to be 6 to 8 years old are needed for the production. Comedian prepares for appearance today at California University Comedian Steve Hofstetter may be known for his performances on TV, like "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," ESPN's "Quite Frankly" and VH1's "The Countdown," but what Hofstetter likes best is live performances, especially in front of college students. Filmmaker to show documentary about rescue of Ugandan orphans Two Chins Productions announced Jesse Bradley, a Greensburg area native and co-producer of the documentary film, "Malayaka House," will return to his hometown for the premiere of this inspiring film. Waynesburg screens prize-winning 'Gasland' Waynesburg is one of only 20 communities chosen to host an afternoon screening event of the Sundance Film Festival Special Jury Prize winning film "Gasland" with the director. Poke's Memorial Ride to benefit Paws for Purple Hearts program The second annual Poke's Memorial Ride and Spaghetti Dinner, which will raise money for Paws for Purple Hearts, a non-profit program dedicated to helping war veterans, will be held Sunday. Registration will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Bender's Pit Stop. The ride will leave at noon and will be held rain or shine.
