Fayette town hall to focus on child abuse prevention

A number of individuals focused on child abuse prevention are holding a town hall in Brownsville to educate the public and address concerns about how agencies respond to cases. Fayette County Crime Victims Center Executive Director Andrea Hibbs said organizers chose to hold it there in light of two cases of child abuse in the borough. “This will give that community an opportunity to respond to those incidents, how they can help as a community and where to go if they suspect abuse,” Hibbs said.
