Two teens killed in Route 119 accident Tuesday night

The Fayette County coroner confirmed that two teens were killed in a one-vehicle accident that occurred around 10:45 p.m. on Route 119 in Georges Township on Tuesday night. Another passenger in the vehicle was flown by emergency helicopter to a hospital. Route 119 was shut down in both directions. State police are investigating.

Perryopolis teen reported missing

A 17-year-old Perryopolis girl ran away from home at about 9 p.m. Monday, according to police.

A South Union Township man was charged with aggravated assault and other charges after allegedly strangling a 16-year-old girl.

Connellsville business damaged by early morning fire

An early morning fire at Ed Vincent Auto Body located on Morrell Avenue in Connellsville sustained extensive damage Sunday.  Several area fire companies responded to the call at around 5:30 a.m.  When firefighters arrived the rear of the commercial structure was fully involved.  No injuries were reported and the cause is unknown at this time.  Volunteer fire companies from New Have Hose, South Connellsville, Connellsville and Dunbar townships, as well as Fayette EMS responded to the scene.
