State police said they have secured a warrant for the arrest of a Uniontown man accused of intentionally crashing his car while arguing with his wife in North Union Township Monday.

Trooper Jonathan Eberhardt said Bernard Anthony Matway, 43, of 9 Union St., was charged by Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr. with two counts of drunken driving, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment and three traffic violations following the crash on Mount Braddock Road.

According to Eberhardt, the incident occurred after Matway stopped at a liquor store and purchased a bottle of rum.
