A South Union Township man is behind bars after police said he violently assaulted two men during a dispute on Nov. 3.

State police Trooper Ryan R. Burns said Anthony Scott Kolosky, 40, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Randy S. Abraham with aggravated assault and two counts each of simple assault and harassment.

According to Burns, the altercation occurred at 1 Shellie St. shortly before 8 p.m.

Burns said that during the fight, Kolosky attacked Brian Zack, 36, and Steven Turpen, 53, both of Uniontown. He said that Zack suffered a broken jaw and several broken teeth and that Turpen suffered a broken nose.

Kolosky was taken into custody without incident following the fight, Burns said.

Abraham placed Kolosky in Fayette County Prison on $40,000 straight cash bond following his arraignment.

Kolosky will face a preliminary hearing at 9:45 a.m. Nov. 21 before Magisterial District Judge Joseph M. George Jr.
