Two people were shot after an alleged argument over a missing jacket and money turned into a gun battle outside a Uniontown bar during the early morning hours Sunday.
Uniontown Police Department Detective Donald M. Gmitter said two people, both in their 20s, suffered gunshot wounds during the melee.
Gmitter said the victims, a male and female, were taken to area hospitals. Neither of their injuries are believed to be life threatening, he said.
Police said the incident occurred outside Splash Bar, located near Fayette Street and Feathers Avenue, around 3:30 a.m.
According to police, the dispute is believed to have started inside the bar, erupting into a gunfight outside the bar later.
Multiple shots were fired during the altercation. Officers, assisted by a state police forensic service unit, taped off the area and scoured the scene for shell casings and other evidence.
Gmitter said at least two people are believed to have fired shots outside the bar during the altercation.
The shooting remains under active investigation.
