A Grindstone man allegedly smacked a woman’s head off the wall of his home after she told him she did not want to have sex with him Thursday, according to police.

State police charged Bernard Joseph Stuczynski, 67, of 102 E. Second St. with aggravated assault, strangulation, simple assault and indecent assault of an unconscious person.

The woman told police she went to Stuczynski’s house to “hang out” and drink.

The Herald-Standard does not identify those who allege they are victims of sex crimes.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed in his case, during the early morning hours Thursday, he asked her to have sex with him and became angry when she declined.

He allegedly smacked her head off the kitchen wall, causing heavy bleeding. She tried to leave, and he allegedly assaulted her in the street, pushed her to the ground and struck her head off the road.

Police said she had bruises on her arms where he grabbed her repeatedly to prevent her from leaving.

He also allegedly choked her and touched her under her clothes while she slept.

Stuczynski was arraigned Thursday morning before Magisterial District Judge Richard Kasunic II and released on a $25,000 unsecured bond.
