Miss Polly's would like to thank Herald Standard reporter Josh Krysak for writing a story that totally blew the whole situation out of proportion.....because of you our company is now Nation Wide. We have been in newspapers all over the United States from the East Coast to the West Coast. We have even been mentioned in several magazines. Because of this incredibly inaccurate story, we have gotten awesome advertising lol. Once again thanks! Visit us on Facebook or just Google us now lol.

This was not a TURF war! There is no "war" Between Miss Polly's Sweet Treats and F&S Ice Cream. We have a friendly rivalry with F&S. We have respect for each other. Most days we don't even see each other. This has been an on going issue with just ONE of their hired drivers. This Driver ran me off the road last year while working in the same area (a police report was filed with the state police), he has yelled vulger comments out of his personal vehicle during the off season, he has went up to customers and slandered us. Yesterday he ran my husband off the road in front of several children. Any of those children could have gotten hurt because of his neglect and recklessness. This is why we called the police Instead of engaging in a confrontation with him. We have spoken with the other owner and he stated he will take care of the issue.

Miss Polly's is a family owned business that was created to teach our children financial responsibility and how to treat others. We want to provide a positive experience for all the children in our neighborhoods. We truly enjoy what we do and we love our customers. We love working with our community. We worked the Brownsville Fireworks last year and donated part of our proceeds to them. This year we were part of the National Pike Festival in Hopwood. We are also in the process of developing fund raising efforts for the Laurel Highlands JROTC, which both of our children are members. We would greatly appreciate for the Herald Standard to contact us so that the story can be written in a true light instead of making both companies look bad. Once again there is no "turf war"! Thank You, Miss Polly
