Hollis scored on a 14-yard run for Albert Gallatin (2-2, 3-3) while Sanders had touchdown runs of 6, 9, 3, and 41 yards. Cody Peebles completed a 5-yard scoring pass to Deon McKoy for the Colonials' other touchdown.
Southmoreland (0-6, 0-3) had several promising drives ended by two fumbles and an interception.
The Colonials will host Laurel Highlands in a key conference game on Friday, while the Scotties will be on the road against conference leader Greensburg Salem.
West Mifflin 31, Uniontown 17
Colin Killins had three carries for 109 yards and three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to lift West Mifflin to a non-conference win over Uniontown.
Killins finished the game 117 yards on 7 carries, while teammate Shamar Greene led the Titans with 157 yards on 16 carries and a pair of scores.
West Mifflin ran for 180 yards in the fourth quarter and 326 for the game to improve to 5-1, while Uniontown fell to 3-3.
The Red Raiders led 17-6 at halftime, but mustered only 25 yards and two first downs after the break.
"You can't get 25 yards and two first downs in a half and expect to beat a good team like West Mifflin," Uniontown coach John Fortugna said. "We were right there. We had 'em and we let it slip away."
Derry Area 12, Laurel Highlands 0
Missed opportunities cost Laurel Highlands as Derry Area posted a shutout in Keystone Conference play at the Mustang Corral.
The Mustangs (2-1, 2-4) failed to score after recovering a fumble on the Trojans' 41 and lost possession on downs with 1:24 remaining in the third quarter.
Laurel Highlands fumbled in the second quarter to set up Derry's second touchdown and could not capitalize on a fake punt in the first, along with missing a field goal.
The Mustangs' Dylan Clifford picked up 47 yards on 15 carries. Carmen Congelio was 10-of-18 for 69 yards, and Ryan Reed had 28 yards on four receptions for Laurel Highlands.
Nick Sofranko had 27 carries for 112 yards for Derry (2-2, 2-4) with one touchdown.
Norwin 34, Connellsville 6
"We did some things well; we did some things bad. Consistency isn't there," Connellsville coach Jeff Immel said, after his Falcons suffered their sixth consecutive defeat of the season, falling to Norwin at Norwin Stadium.
Norwin started fast, scoring on its opening drive, moving 80 yards in only five plays. Two touchdowns late in the second quarter and another pair to open the third quarter powered the Knights (4-2, 2-2) to the Quad-South Foothills Conference win.
Connellsville averted a shutout when Seth Kozak scored on a two-yard run with 5:27 remaining in the game.
Norwin piled up 327 yards on the ground and added 140 through the air, while the Falcons (0-6, 0-4) managed 104 on the ground, 29 passing. Anthony May led Connellsville with 37 yards rushing on 10 carries.
"We executed, we blocked, we ran hard," Immel said, describing the Falcons touchdown. "We moved the ball well at times, but couldn't finish our drives. That has been the story of our season."
Mount Pleasant 49, Brownsville 0
The Vikings remained unbeaten in Interstate Conference play by shutting out the visiting Falcons. Mount Pleasant's Bryce Ansell ran for 122 yards and two touchdowns on just seven carries.
Jimmy Stefancic and Spencer Smouse scored two touchdowns each as Mount Pleasant improves to 6-0 on the season. The loss drops Brownsville to 1-5.
Charleroi 14, Waynesburg Central 7 - Kyle Shannon scored on a 25-yard touchdown pass from Tommy Thorpe with a minute left in regulation to lift the Cougars to an Interstate Conference win over visiting Waynesburg.
Waynesburg (1-5, 1-5) led 7-0 at the half behind John Sinnott's 14-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Sinnott finished with 44 yards.
Quentin Briggs led Charleroi (5-1, 5-1) with 159 yards on 32 carries.
Jefferson-Morgan 33, West Greene 0
Jefferson-Morgan's potent offense is back after a two-week absence as the Rockets were clicking on all cylinders against West Greene for a Tri-County South Conference victory on Homecoming.
The Rockets won with strong defense and a rushing attack that was missing one of its most vital weapons with senior running back Hans Lubich after he suffered an injury in the second quarter. Lubich had to be taken to a hospital by ambulance off the field.
Senior running backs Ryan Knight and Derek Haiden picked up the rushing load for Lubich, running over Pioneer defenders in the wet and muddy conditions. The 6-1, 195-pound Knight ran for 160 on 15 carries with four trips to the end zone, while Haiden gained 104 yards on 15 rushes.
Heading into the game, Jefferson-Morgan (5-1, 3-1) had totaled 156 points, sixth best in Class A, but has struggled the past two weeks by only averaging 16.5 points per game for a 1-1 record in those contests.
With the commanding victory, J-M posts its 11 straight win over West Greene (0-6, 0-4), outscoring the Pioneers by a 366-114 margin in those games.
Beth-Center 48, Mapletown 8
Beth-Center quarterback Sal Faieta threw for 121 yards and two touchdowns to lead the visiting Bulldogs to a win over Mapletown.
Faieta added an interception return for a touchdown as the Bulldogs improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in the Tri-County South Conference.
The Maples (0-6, 0-3) finished with just 74 yards of total offense as they struggled throughout the game. Tommy Riggleman scored the lone touchdown for Mapletown, which is still trying to get head coach George Messich his 100th career victory. Messich currently has 99 victories in his long career.
Carmichaels 44, California 26
Chalk one up for Greene County. In one of the biggest upsets of the week, Carmichaels dealt Tri-County South Conference opponent California its first loss of the season, 44-26.
Perhaps the biggest loss of the evening was California's D.J. Martinak, who was injured with 13 seconds left in the first half and spent the final 24 minutes of the game on crutches.
Martinak recorded 76 rushing yards and 65 passing yards with two touchdown runs. With him out, the Trojans recorded only 68 yards the remainder of the game.
The Mikes recorded 256 rushing yards and 105 passing yards in the game with Anthonie Farrar racking up 178 yards and four touchdowns.
Frazier 21, Burgettstown 20, OT
Despite weather that wasn't conducive to kicking, an extra point providing the winning point in Frazier's 21-20 overtime victory over Black Hills Conference opponent Burgettstown.
Chase Kirmeyer rushed for 110 yards on 32 carries and Jimmy Kline ran for 119 yards on 16 carries, but Burgettstown (3-3, 2-2) rallied in the fourth quarter with Dillon Bongiorni's 11-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Todd.
Zach Schilinsky scored on a touchdown pass from Bongiorni in overtime, but the kick failed.
Frazier (3-3, 2-2) evened the score when Kirmeyer plunged in from a yard out. Kyle Rodriquez made the PAT to give the Commodores the win.
