Uniontown police said police in Maryland recovered a motorcycle that was reported stolen from Uniontown on Tuesday afternoon.

Thomas Schmitt Jr., 28, of Roscoe was cited for public drunkenness following an incident in California at 1:50 a.m. Nov. 8, borough police said.

Vandals damaged a mirror on a vehicle owned by Audrey Friend of Point Marion while it was parked on New Geneva Road between 11:30 p.m. Nov. 12 and 8:30 a.m. Friday, state police said.

State police said items owned by Stephanie Durstine of Acme were stolen from her car while it was parked on Melcroft Road between 8:30 p.m. Nov. 12 and 4:45 a.m. Friday.

Vandals damaged the front door of a home owned by Connie Smith of Vanderbilt on Greenfield Road between 2 and 10 a.m. Nov. 11, state police said.

No one was injured when a car driven by John Murvin of Morgantown, W.Va., crashed on the Mon/Fayette Expressway at 6:44 a.m. Nov. 11, state police said.

State police said Jeffrey Scott Barndt, 44, of Ohiopyle was charged with drunken driving following a traffic accident on Maple Summit Road Oct. 17.

State police said five people were charged with public drunkenness following an incident at a bar on Route 21 at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. Charged were Michael David Fields, 38, of Fairchance, Lisa L. Schneider of Atwood, Tenn., Heather J. Metts, 32, of Smithfield, Bruce Wayne Mitchell, 36, of Uledi and Ronald S. Wingrove, 31, of Uledi.

Brian Michael Lecor-chick, 18, no address available, was charged with retail theft after he allegedly stole items from Burlington Coat Factory at Uniontown Mall at 2:08 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

State police said they served a warrant for the arrest of Alan Arencibia of Uniontown at a location in Georges Township Nov. 10.

State police said a 16-year-old Menallen Township boy was reported missing from his home on Third Street at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

State police said a 17-year-old Acme boy was cited for scattering rubbish on Bear Rocks Road at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

North Union Twp.

State police said vehicles driven by Francis Shuman of Lemont Furnace and Philisa Tunstell of Uniontown collided on Connellsville Street at 11:17 a.m. Monday.

South Union Twp.

Vandals damaged a stop sign on Morgantown Road at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.

Perry Twp.

State police said prescription medication was stolen from the Jefferson Senior Care Center on Memorial Drive between 11 a.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Franklin Twp.

No one was injured when cars driven by Michael Palladino of Connellsville and David Spisak of West Newton collided on Tippecanoe Road at 1:20 p.m. Monday, state police said.

State police said someone tried to break into the home of Louis Durigon of Republic around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

Vickie Owens of Smock suffered moderate injuries when the vehicle she was driving crashed on Grindstone Road at 10:50 p.m. Sunday, state police said.

Luzerne Twp.

State police said a vehicle driven by Jerry Cooper of Point Marion struck a tree on Penncraft Road at 6:09 p.m. Monday. Cooper suffered moderate injuries, police said.

West Brownsville

State police said a purse owned by Patricia Balchick of West Brownsville was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked on Main Street Sunday evening.

Fayette County

The Fayette County Sheriff's office fielded 712 calls for service, including 138 complaints, 30 landlord/tenant disputes and 33 mortgage foreclosures during October. Officers said they issued 388 gun permits during the month, served 10 bench warrants and transported 85 prisoners. Officers said they also provided 168 hours of security for the Fayette County Public Safety Building and the Fayette County Courthouse.

Dunkard Twp.

David Adams of Bobtown told police that two rifles were stolen from his home on Dalzell Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday, state police said.
