No injuries were reported in a fire in an occupied house on Hillcrest Road near the West Virginia border in Springfield Township on Sunday.

The fire was reported at 3:48 p.m. and firefighters began clearing the scene at 5:30 p.m., according to Fayette County 911.

The Smithfield, Fairchance, Collier, Haydentown and Hopwood volunteer fire departments responded to the alarm.
