The snowsports resorts of Stowe Mountain, Smugglers' Notch, Mount Snow, Plattekill Mountain and Labrador Mountain are positioned to get plenty of natural snow, and, as a backup, they have great snowmaking abilities.

New York's Plattekill Mountain is a family ski area run by a family. It has 1,100 feet of vertical drop and true mountain hospitality, with 35 exciting trails. Labrador Mountain in Central New York is in a great snowbelt.
