Library
The Frazier Community Library will be closed Saturday through Monday for Labor Day.
The library will reopen Sept. 6 with extended hours. The extended hours are Mondays and Wednesdays 3 to 8 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays 3 to 6 p.m.

Cancellation
Frazier Class of 1986 25-year reunion scheduled for Sept. 3 has been canceled due to a lack of significant interest. All money will be refunded.
Attention quilters
The Quilt Show will again be held as part of Perryopolis Pioneer Days at the Grist Mill Oct. 1 and 2. This year ribbons will be awarded in numerous categories. Quilts for display and judging are needed. For drop-off and pick-up information, call Leslie Chalfant at 724-366-2978 or 724-736-2395.
Reunion
The Frazier class of 1961 will hold its 50-year class reunion Sept. 9, 10 and 11. A get together at the Sons of Italy will be held Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. A banquet and dance at Capporellas in Uniontown Sept. 10. A picnic will be held Sept. 11 at Sampey Park.
Flower Club
The Flower Club is hoping to find a few new members so that it won’t have to disband. Several women have come forward to say they’ll help if they can.
The Girl Scouts are talking about getting involved. The Flower Club also accepts men if they like to dig, plant and weed.
Cemetery
The old cemetery across the street from the VFW is falling into disrepair. The stones are deteriorating and need placed again. Some are completely broken and need restored if possible. This is part of Perryopolis’ history.
The oldest stones still standing date from 1830. Many residents would like to see it restored. If you or your organization are interested in helping restore the cemetery, call Ruthie and she will pass the information along.
Retiring
Dianne Clausner is retiring as the organist at the Perryopolis United Methodist Church today.
A small reception will be held after the service to wish her a happy retirement.
The church will be in search of a new organist to replace Dianne.

The Frazier class of 1966’s 45-year reunion will be held at Sampey Park Oct. 8. The time has been changed to 5 p.m.
