Race

A week ago, Crabby saw something on Circle Street and couldn’t make it out from the yard. It was moving slowly and she thought it might be some injured squirrel or kitten.

So she went to investigate and found a box turtle slowly plodding along. Lacking any new bear sightings, someone asked Crabby if she called the game warden to report this wild beast. She said, “Oh sure, they trapped him, tagged him, put an ankle bracelet on him to monitor his movements and returned him to the wild.” Not really, Mr. Turtle went to a local flower bed where Crabby hoped he could find his fill of bugs and grass.
