SMITHFIELD ROTARY CLUB is sponsoring blood testing from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Smithfield Rotary Club Hall, formerly York Run Grange Hall.
CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICA COURT 505 UNIONTOWN will meet 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Poplar Lane Court Community Room, New Salem Road, Uniontown.
FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH REPUBLIC will hold a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. The menu will include spaghetti, two meatballs, salad, bread, beverage and cake. Takeouts are available. The church is located off Route 166.
HARMONY CHURCH will hold its Strawberry Festival from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the church located on Route 51 South between Perryopolis and 70, behind Harrison’s Lawn Furniture. The menu will include hot dogs, baked beans, chips, soft drinks, cake, ice cream, strawberries and whipped cream. The funds raised will benefit the youth mission trip.
LEMONT FURNACE COMMUNITY DAY will be held Saturday at the North Union Firehall Field. Events include a yard sale at 8 a.m. Events starting at noon include music featuring Spirit of Harmony, dunk tank, slide, musician, balloon twister, hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones and more. POINT MARION UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will open its “New to You” store from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at 502 Morgantown St. Items available include clothing for all ages, toys, household and outdoor items for sale.
FREDERICKTOWN AREA PUBLIC LIBRARY will host a “Sip of Summer Outdoor Wine Tasting” from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, June 21 at Waleski Horse Farm, 38 Emery Road, Richeyville. The event will feature wineries, catered food, vendors and basket raffle and live entertainment.
