FLAG DAY CELEBRATION will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the AMVETS Post 103 outdoor pavilion in Hopwood. The event will include patriotic music and a program.

BEREAN SEVEN-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH will hold a program “AIDS Among African-American Teenagers” at 3 p.m. Saturday at the church located at 95 Searight Ave., Uniontown. The program will be presented by Kezia Ellison, president and CEO of Educating Teens, Inc. of Pittsburg. Everyone is welcome to attend and the event is free.

COUNCIL OF THE PARISHES OF THE DIOCESE OF GREENSBURG (formerly S.O.C.C.) will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the New Salem Fireman’s Social Hall.

EAST END CONCERNED CITIZENS will hold their next meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in the community room of the East End United Community Center. All residents of the East End Community are encouraged to attend.

REVERE NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Revere Community Center. Guest speakers will be Jeff Hughes and Pat Collins. Topics for discussion will include gun safety and gun laws. For more information, call 724-963-5983.

ST. THERESE’S ALTAR SOCIETY will hold their next monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Father Thomas Parish Center, Morgantown Street, Uniontown. Tickets for the annual card party at 2 p.m. on June 23 will be available.

UNIONTOWN FLOWER CLUB will hold its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Friday in the Trinity Room at Mount St. Macrina, Route 40, Uniontown. For more information, call 724-725-9236.
