ST. THERESE’S CHURCH ALTAR SOCIETY will have their annual card party at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Father Thomas Parish Center, 124 Morgantown St., Uniontown. Door prizes, special prizes and a goodie table with Italian pastries will be available. A luncheon will be served. Chairwoman Peggy Montel invites the public to attend this event. CALVARY METHODIST CHURCH will host its Strawberry Festival from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets include soup or salad, choice of either a hot dog (with or without sauerkraut), kielbasa (with or without sauerkraut), sloppy Joe or ham barbeque, strawberry dessert and beverage. Takeout containers will be available.
BROWNFIELD LIBRARY OF DAWSON is currently registering people for its “Dig Into Reading” summer reading program until July 15. The Program will be held 10 to 11:30 a.m. July 22 to 26 with a special music program by Ray Owens on July 31. Also registration for the September Talent Show is in progress.
