CALVARY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will host a spaghetti supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church located at 34 Clark St., Uniontown. The menu will feature spaghetti, a meatball, a salad, bread with butter, dessert and beverage. Tickets will be sold at the door. Takeouts will be available, and containers will be provided. COLONEL ANDREW LYNN CHAPTER, DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION will meet at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Uniontown Public Library. Members are to bring treasured items, antiques or memorabilia to share.
SS. CYRIL AND METHODIUS CHURCH will hold their semi-annual spaghetti dinner from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at their church in Fairchance. Meals will be available dine in or takeout, and tickets will be sold at the door. Homemade meatballs and sauce will also be available.
GREAT MEADOWS CHAPTER, DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Rittenhouse Conference Room, Smock. Election of officers will be held. MISS RAIN DAY SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT is currently accepting applications for this year’s Miss Rain Day pageant. The contest is open to Greene County girls who are between the ages of 14 and 18 as of Rain Day, July 29. Each contestant will compete in a personal interview, sportswear, talent and evening gown competition. There will be scholarship savings bonds available for winners of additional categories. A reduced entry fee is available to those who register by Friday. The final deadline to register is Tuesday.
