Karpency – Dyer
United in marriage on October 7, 2013, were Rachel Ann Karpency and Zachary Stuart Dyer at the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in the town of Positano on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. The bride was given in marriage by her father at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Christy Karpency of Adah, and the groom is the son of Tom Dyer of Clarksburg, W.Va., and Cindy Barberio of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
A reception was held at Le Terrazze Restaurant in Positano.
Rachel is a 2003 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Vincent College in 2007, her Master of Arts degree from Kent State University in 2009, and her Juris Doctor degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 2012. Rachel is currently an attorney at McDonald Land Services LLC in Uniontown and Cambridge, Ohio.
Zach is a 2005 graduate of Robert C. Byrd High School in Clarksburg, W.Va. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University in 2009 and his Juris Doctor degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 2012. Zach is currently working as an attorney for Dyer Law in Clarksburg, W.Va.
Following a wedding trip to Positano, the couple is residing in Morgantown, W.Va.
