HARMONY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH will host an old-fashioned buckwheat and pancake dinner 3:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday at the church located on Route 51 north, two miles from Perryopolis on the left.

CARMICHAELS AND CUMBERLAND TOWNSHIP VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY will sponsor a holiday extravaganza craft and vendor show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the fire company social hall at 420 W. George Street, Carmichaels.

FLENNIKEN PUBLIC LIBRARY will offer free computer classes from 1-2 p.m. starting Nov. 19 with learning how to use a mouse and some keyboard keys.

Because space is limited, participants must pre-register by calling 724-966-5263 or stopping by the library at 102 E. George St., Carmichaels.

ST. PAUL’S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN DENBO will hold a rummage sale including Christmas items, food and bake sale 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

FESTIVAL OF TREES is on display at the Uniontown Hospital through Dec. 4. Tickets for the fundraising event are on sale in the main lobby from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Drawing for winners will take place at noon on Dec. 4.

The event is sponsored annually by the hospital’s volunteer auxiliary with proceeds benefiting the nursing scholarship program at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus.

ST. FRANCIS OF ASSISI PARISH will sponsor a holupki dinner and bake sale at the Footedale site from 11 am. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Dinner will be served at the social hall and include cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, vegetable, bread and butter, dessert and a beverage. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.

Take outs will be available.

STAR JUNCTION UNITED METHODIST CHURCH will host a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the church, 112 Church St., behind McDonald’s on Route 51.

The meal includes salad, Italian bread, spaghetti with meatballs, dessert and drinks. Take outs will be available.

CONFLUENCE CREATIVE ARTS CENTER will hold the Trail Town Quilt Show and Most Awesome Bake Sale 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

There will be a huge selection of baked goods and treats to purchase and a display of quilts.

Visitors can vote for their favorite quilts, including heirloom, wall hangings, and a selection stitched by area quilters.

The award-winning Turkeyfoot Log Cabin quilt will be on display designed by Crystal Hay and stitched by a cooperative group to recognize the Turkeyfoot Area Heritage.

Live old-time music will be played throughout the day.
