The Perryopolis United Methodist Church will hold its annual roast beef dinner on Nov. 9 from 4-7 p.m. Take outs will be available at 4 p.m.
Trick-or-treat
Trick-or-treat in Perry Township will be held on Oct. 27 from 1-3 p.m. with the Halloween parade on the town circle at 4 p.m.
Trick-or-treat in the borough of Perryopolis will be held on Oct. 27 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. following the Halloween parade on the town circle at 4 p.m.
Bicentennial news
The organizers of the Perryopolis Bicentennial would like all the people who organize the Frazier class reunions to contact them with addresses of classmates so that a list can be compiled to invite them to “come home” for the bicentennial celebration in June 2014. Call Noreen Halvonik at 724-736-2133 to help.
Floats are wanted for the bicentennial parade. Any group or organization wanting to volunteer or who want more information may call Pam Newmeyer at 724-736-0166.
Volunteers are also needed to learn the history of Perryopolis to serve as guides and to serve at the information booth during the bicentennial.

The bicentennial committee is still selling tickets for the hand-hooked wool rug. This rug is 20 by 32 inches and done in the Primitive Star pattern.
The drawing for the rug will be held on Nov. 3. Tickets are available at the Perry Drug Store or from committee members.
The next meeting of the bicentennial committee will be held on Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. in the borough building.
