Sarah Elizabeth Attick and George Christopher Parish were united in marriage Aug. 2 at St. Patrick Church in Carlisle. The Rev. William Forrey officiated at the nuptials, and the bride was given in marriage by her grandfather, Ernest Minnich. Music for the ceremony was provided by Theresa Maag.

The bride is the daughter of Stanley and Debbie Attick of York, and the groom is the son of George and Donna Parish of Masontown.

Maid of honor was Dana Dukes of Manchester. Bridesmaids were Kerri Kio of Harrisburg; Becki Harwood of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Randi Chapman of Charlottesville, Va.; Shannon Baker of Grovetown, Ga.; Angela Borntrager of York; and Tawsha Beaverson of Etters. Evelynn Beaverson of Etters served as flower girl.

Geoff Rozak of Masontown and Don Rebar of Farmingville, N.Y. served as co-best men. Groomsmen included Andrew Patrick of Parkersburg, W.Va.; Cesar Lara of Carlisle; Kevin Jacobs of Waynesburg; Andrew Malloy of Carlisle and Matt Thomas of Mechanicsburg. The groomsmen also served as ushers. Ring bearer was Luke Burrell of York.

A reception was held at the Whispering Pines Banquet Hall in Carlisle. Music/entertainment was provided by Cutting Edge Productions — DJ Edge (Eddie Ward). An additional reception was held at the Hopwood Social Hall in Hopwood, where music/entertainment was provided by The Vibrations Band.

Sarah attended West Coast Baptist College and is currently employed as business development coordinator at McCafferty Ford and Kia in Mechanicsburg.

George earned his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University. He is structural engineer with Dewberry Engineers Inc.

Following a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is residing in Carlisle.
