South Union accepting input on CDBG spending

The South Union Township supervisors are accepting public input on how to spend this year’s $134,944 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).

No one attended a hearing the supervisors held a hearing on the CDBG on Wednesday, but comments can be forwarded to the township engineering firm K2 Engineering, 234 Pittsburgh St., Uniontown, Pa., 15401 until noon on Dec. 3.

CDBG money can be used for economic development, public improvements, public services, recreational facilities, housing rehabilitation and blight removal.
