Rispo began playing music at the age of 10, and studied organ with Donald Dumler, principal organist emeritus of St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. n Nathanael Greene Community Development Corporation is sponsoring a day trip to the family friendly Apple Butter Festival in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., on Oct. 11. Car cruises planned
n Weekly Car cruises will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. every Friday through September at the Uniontown Shopping Center (weather permitting). Disc jockey Arnie Amber will provide musical entertainment.
n St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church 9th annual Classic Car Show, noon-4 p.m. Sept. 28, 185 E. Main St., Uniontown. Registration is noon-2 p.m., and the first 150 cars will receive dash plaques along with over 25 trophies awarded. There will also be food, a Byzantine auction, raffles and music provided by disc jockey Arnie Amber. The event will be rain or shine. Proceeds will benefit the St. John the Baptist church maintenance fund.
