Muchnok – Small
Kristie Elizabeth Muchnok and Jeffrey Dwayne Small were united in marriage on Sept. 26 at St. Mary’s (Nativity) Church in Uniontown. The Rev. Peter Peretti officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, and the bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride is the daughter of Rod and Theresa Muchnok of Hopwood, and the groom is the son of Ron and Yvonne Small of Lakewood, Colo.
The bridal party consisted of twelve bridesmaids and twelve groomsmen from all over the country. Serving as flower girls were Mila Muchnok and Lyla Mushro. Parker Small served as ring bearer.
The bride wore a couture trumpet gown in tulle with a sweetheart neckline, rebrode’ lace appliqués and crystal gem stone embroidery. The skirt had a double lace ruffle and crystal scalloped hem. She wore a lace and crystal bolero jacket and matching lace cathedral veil.
A reception was held in the Grand Ballroom at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort; followed by an after party at Otis and Henry’s Restaurant at Lady Luck Casino.
Kristie is a 2000 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School. In 2004, she graduated from West Virginia University, where she studied political science. She works in Washington, D.C., for the United States Congress on Capitol Hill and is a staff member for the U.S. House Administration Committee.
Kristie is a former professional cheerleader for the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals and the Washington Redskins. She is a decade representative for the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders Alumni Association.
Jeffrey graduated in 2005 from the University of Nebraska, where he studied political science. He also played football on their championship team. Jeffrey works on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., as the legislative director for Congressman Paul Gosar of Arizona.
The couple honeymooned at Yucatan, Mexico, and now resides in Arlington, Va.
