Tara G. Sharpe and Daniel A. Polvinale were united in marriage on May 16 at the home of Dr. Gerry Grant-Aceto (grandmother of the bride) in New Salem. The ceremony was performed outdoors on the front portico of the home. District Justice Richard Kusinic Jr. officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Natalie Sharpe of New Salem, and the groom is the son of David and Candace Polvinale of Brownsville.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a short dress of lace over chiffon with a scoop neck and a beaded peach satin sash complemented by pearled netting in her hair. She carried a bouquet of gerbera daisies and hydrangeas.

An intimate formal brunch was served after the ceremony with only immediate family in attendance to celebrate the occasion.

Tara is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Science and Technology in 2015.

Daniel served four years in the United States Army in the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. After completing his service with the rank of sergeant, he attended Triangle Tech where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Maintenance Electricity and Construction Technology in 2012.

Following their wedding, the couple honeymooned on a three-month camping road trip, visiting family and friends across the continental United States.

They currently reside in Republic.
