Pursglove – Fisher
Katey Nicole Pursglove and Jordon Jesse Fisher were united in marriage at the Fort Burd United Presbyterian Church in Brownsville July 12. The Rev. Dr. David R. Clark officiated at the ceremony, and the bride was given in marriage by her parents. Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Sandra Leichliter, and Mrs. Stacy Carei and Mrs. Amy Wivell were soloists.
The bride is the daughter of Dave and Cherie Pursglove of Hiller. She is the granddaughter of Evelyn Kara and the late Robert Kara and Mary Pursglove and the late C. David Pursglove. The groom is the son of Kathleen Fisher and the late Paul Fisher of Butler. He is the grandson of Don and Mary Wise, Jean and the late Jesse Allshouse, and Ruth and the late Paul Fisher.
Matron of honor was Lindsay Crable, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Breann Chiovitti, friend of the bride; Stevi Kovach, friend of the bride; and Taylor Bella, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Reagan Gammon, friend of the bride and her family. Mini flower girl was Harper Crable, niece of the bride.
Zach Fisher, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Jim Stickney, friend of the groom; Ben Cress, friend of the groom; and Jerry Crable, brother-in-law of the bride. Serving as ushers were Mark Dietrich and Austin Wells. Landon Crable, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Hopwood Social Hall, with music and entertainment provided by Paul McGrady Entertainment.
Katey received a Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Science Degree in Communication Disorders from California University of Pennsylvania. She is currently working as a speech language pathologist for Aegis Therapies at Golden Living Center in Hagerstown, Md. Jordon received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and Technology Education and currently works as a high school technology education teacher in the Waynesboro Area School District.
The couple celebrated their marriage on a honeymoon cruise to Bermuda. Katey and Jordon recently purchased a home in Waynesboro, where they reside with their new puppy, Cooper.
