Murrays celebrate 50 years

Cynda E. and Ronald L. Murray, Sr. of Uniontown recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were united in marriage on Dec. 15, 1967, by Chaplain Richard Kathy at the Ellsworth Air Force Base Chapel, South Dakota.
Mrs. Murray is the former Cynda Williams, graduate of Fairchance-Georges High School Class of 1967. Mr. Murray is a graduate of Brownsville Area High School Class of 1967.
The couple is the proud parents of daughter, Raquelle (Texas); daughter Rawnette (Virginia) and son, Ronald L. Murray Jr. (R.J.) and his wife Rhonica (Maryland). They are grandparents to beloved twins Rico and Rocco, and the late Roxy Murray.
Ronald is a retired coal miner, foreman, with over 35 years of experience. He is currently working for First Student at the Albert Gallatin School District. Cynda works as administrative decision support, computer network coordinator for the WVU Department of Pediatrics. They enjoy spending time with their family during their yearly vacation at the Massanutten Resort, and cruising as a couple with the Royal Caribbean cruise line for the past 25 years.
A dinner party and celebration at Anthony’s Lakeside Party Center, hosted by their children and attended by 100 family and friends, was held on Oct. 28, 2017 to mark the occasion.
