Firemen’s Day

No early bird admission.

8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Enter light horses, cattle for Mon Valley Dairy Show and Mason Dixon Polled Hereford Show, 4-H breeding sheep, open and 4-H breeding swine and 4-H carcass swine, open and 4-H meat breeding goats.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entries accepted for Home Economics Building, including Dept. 11 — youth under 19, Dept. 15 — home and dairy, Dept. 18 — needlework, Dept. 19 — handcrafts.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entries accepted for Grange Building, including Dept. 19 — art and photography and Dept. 20 — Grange displays.

9 a.m. Fayette County 4-H Horse & Pony Club Shows in Horse Arena.

Noon to 4 p.m. Enter Mason Dixon Polled Hereford steers.

2-4 p.m. Enter open breeding sheep and 4-H carcass steers.

2-4 p.m. Weigh-in for 4-H carcass lambs and goats.

4-8 p.m. Enter antique farm tractors.

5-5:30 p.m. Weigh-in for open and 4-H carcass swine.

6-11 p.m. Carnival open.

6:30 p.m. Opening ceremony at Youth Building.

7 p.m. Firemen’s Parade.

7 p.m. Croushore’s Demolition Derby in Chevron Arena.

7 p.m. Judging of baked goods in Home Economics Building.

7 p.m. 4-H Dog Show — Part 1 in Indoor Arena.

7:30 p.m. Fayette County Fair Queen Contest in Fiddlers’ Building.

8:30 p.m. Tristin Dare on 84 Lumber Stage.
