It’s trick-or-treat time again as the world celebrates Halloween.

Dressing up in costumes, walking around your neighborhood and calling out “trick or treat” to neighbors happy to pass out candy, chips or other snacks is a ritual passed down from generation to generation.

Local officials are asking youths who are venturing out to use safety precautions and that residents put on their porch lights if they plan to participate.
