On Nov. 2, R.W. Clark Elementary School in the Laurel Highlands School District held its annual Family Reading Night to celebrate reading.

This year’s event was centered around the book “Creepy Carrots” by Aaron Reynolds. Families watched a Reader’s Theater performed by Clark staff and students, made a craft, did a STEM activity, participated in an escape room, and had their faces painted. High school students from the Mini Mighty Mustang and Interact programs were on hand to help out.
