Bryn Lahew, 17, of Waynesburg was crowned Miss Rain Day 2024 during the 46th scholarship pageant held on July 28 at Waynesburg Central High School. She was chosen from six contestants. She is the daughter of Michelle Shannon and Chay Lahew and will be a senior at Waynesburg Central this fall. In addition to the queen title, she also won the John O’Hara award, Pageantry Spirit Award, Miss Photogenic and tied for sportswear and top evening gown awards.
