The Brownsville Area Ministerial Association’s “Food for Falcons” program is collecting fruit snacks/roll-ups, lip balm and macaroni and cheese cups in January and February. There will be a donation area in each participating BAMA church. Packing for the program is Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 3 p.m. at Brownsville First Christian Church, 512 Second St., Brownsville. All are welcome.
Calvin United Presbyterian Church has paired with the Brownsville Area School District’s Musical Theater group to hold a fundraising bingo at Hiller Fire Hall on Sunday, Jan. 26. All clergy members are invited to attend Alternatives.Yes Ministries’ annual Pastors’ Appreciation Breakfast & Prayer for the Center on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The Greater Uniontown Chorale begins practice for its spring concert, Jesus! The Resurrection of the Messiah, on Monday, Feb. 3 from 7-9 p.m. at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 79 W. The St. Vincent de Paul-sponsored food bank will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the parking lot of the St. Mary’s Social Hall, 118 Church St., Brownsville, from 11 a.m. to noon. Families must be registered with Fayette County Community Action Agency in order to receive food.
The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive Thursday, Feb. 20 from noon to 5 p.m. at St. Peter’s Church Parish Center, 118 Church St., Brownsville, which is adjacent to the parish office of the Historic Church of St. Peter and St. Cecilia. Appointments can be scheduled at 1-800-733-2767.

Stepping Stones Bereavement Support will begin the spring program for the newly bereaved and those still suffering with a loss on Monday, March 3. Adults 55 and older can take part in free chair yoga classes offered by Amy King Allegra. No prior experience is required, though participants should wear stretchy clothing.
