n The Brownsville Area Ministerial Association’s “Food for Falcons” food program is collecting Pop-Tarts and mac and cheese/ravioli bowls during the months of March and April. There will be a donation area in each participating BAMA church and at the end of the collection period the items will be gathered and taken to the Brownsville First Christian Church to be packed and sent home with selected elementary students.
n There will be a “Young Adult Bible Study-Young at Heart Bible Study” at Malden Christian Fellowship, 343 Old National Pike, Brownsville, on Tuesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. Leading the study will be Jason Ruby. There will be refreshments.
n On Wednesday, March 27 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Pleasant View Presbyterian Church, 533 Royal Road, Smock, will hold “Kingdom Kids” time for children grades K-6, including Bible stories, music, crafts, games and snacks. Call 724-677-2149 for information.
n Malden Christian Fellowship, 343 Old National Pike, Brownsville, is holding a weekly women’s meeting open to all ladies and teens on March 28 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Discussion includes issues like depression, anxiety, grief and eating disorders.
n The First Presbyterian Church of Masontown invites the community to share in the Maundy Thursday Worship Service on March 28 at 7 p.m. The Last Supper will be commemorated with everyone invited to share in Communion. First Presbyterian Church is located at 102 West Church Avenue in Masontown.
n On Palm Sunday evening, March 24, the “Washington Sings” group, formerly the Bentworth Ministerium Community Choir, will be sharing their Easter Cantata “Lenten Sketches” at Malden Christian Fellowship, 343 Old National Pike, Brownsville, at 6 p.m. The public is invited to this free event.
n There will be a blood drive at the First Christian Church of Brownsville, 512 Second St., Brownsville, on Tuesday, March 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Schedule an appointment at www.redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-733-2767.
n Bullskin Senior Center, 52 Medsger Road, Connellsville, is holding a craft/vendor show and flea market on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.

n The Ladies of Charity of Southern Fayette Catholic Churches Children’s Closet is located at St. Mary Parish Center 17 Gilmore St. Uniontown. The Children Closet operates every Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., offering free clothing, books, diapers, toys and nursery items for families in need, from ages newborn to 5T.
