Members of the 2019 graduating class of the Connellsville Area Career and Technical Center will be awarded diplomas when the Connellsville Area School District holds commencement exercises beginning at 6:30 p.m. June 7.

CTC senior class valedictorian is Sarah Stillwagon.

Stillwagon is a daughter of Stacy and James Stillwagon of Normalville.

She was enrolled in the carpentry class for four years and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society.

Stillwagon is a recipient of the Sturge W. Hughes Memorial Achievement Award.

After graduation, she plans to seek employment and pursue post-secondary education.

This year’s salutatorian is Meredith Lint.

Lint is a daughter of Leann and Rick Lint of Connellsville.

While at the CTC, she served as vice president of Student Council and the National Technical Honor Society.

Lint is a recipient of scholarships from the Lions Club, Falcon Foundation, Lohr/Ramsey Foundation and Connellsville Area Education Association. She was also awarded the Westmoreland County Community College Presidential Scholarship.

In the fall, Lint will attend Westmoreland County Community College and major in nursing.
