The Mapletown Junior-Senior High School class of 2018 received their diplomas in a graduation ceremony Friday.
Senior class president Gabriel Clark addressed her classmates during the ceremony.
She is a daughter of Marcie and Michael Clark of Greensboro and a member of the volleyball team, cheerleading, student council, SADD, The Future is Mine, National Honor Society, peer court and Interact club. She was also scorekeeper for the baseball team.
Her future plans are to attend college and major in mathematics.
Valedictorians of the senior class were Makenzie Cree and Dylan Rush. Salutatorian was Leigh Goforth.
Cree, a daughter of Jeff and Marsha Cree of Garards Fort, plans to attend California University of Pennsylvania and major in biology.
While in school, she was a member of the volleyball team, cheerleading, softball team, student council, SADD, National Honor Society, Envirothon and Interact club.
Rush, a son of Jenny Rush of Greensboro and Jeff Rush of Uniontown, plans to attend California University of Pennsylvania and major in education.
At Mapletown, he was a member of the football and baseball teams, the Future is Mine and the National Honor Society.
Goforth, a daughter of Cheryl and James Goforth of Bobtown, plans to attend college and major in journalism.
She was a member of the Academic League, band, chorus, SADD and Future Business Leaders of America.
