Uniontown Rotary Club has honored Reganne Shondelmyer as a September student of the month.

A daughter of Kevin and Rhonda Anderson of Hopwood and the late Randy Shondelmyer, she is a senior at Laurel Highlands High School.

Shondelmyer is captain and a four-year member of the marching band and has been part of the stage crew for the spring musical for three years.

She earned the Silver Award and Gold Award from Girl Scouts where she has been a member for 11 years. She has also been involved for seven years in Mission on the Mon church camp.

Shondelmyer works at Maywood Grill as a host and barista, is involved in dual enrollment at Laurel Business Institute, and enjoys traveling.

She plans to attend Laurel Business Institute to study respiratory therapy.
