Connellsville JROTC places second in Maryland competition

Connellsville Area High School Army JROTC program has a winning Raider Team, the most physically demanding competitive activity in JROTC. A Raider must be in top physical condition, know a variety of knots, first aid, how to quickly and properly construct a rope bridge, use a compass and read a map, run and negotiate an obstacle course and carry a rucksack for miles, and have a competitive spirit. Pictured are (from left) bottom row: Thomas Jones, Juliana Albright, Gage Horvath; middle row: Edward Henry, Paul Coltus, Keaton Detwiler, Samantha Campbell; top row: Kristopher Bower, Matthew Humbert, Nathaniel White and LTC Ret. Eric Sheetz.
