One of the long-held traditions at the Fayette County Fair is the queen contest held on the first night. This year, Haylee Bill, 17, of Smithfield won the coveted queen title and Olivia Love, 18, of Scottdale was named the fair princess. Both young ladies will spend their time as ambassadors for the fair during its run, and also will do so throughout the year.
