An accident on Route 51 on Tuesday morning has resulted in one fatality following a collision between a motorcycle and a truck, according to Fayette County Coroner Dr. Bob Baker.

Paul Corbett, 57, of Perryopolis, was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Lauren Bilski.

All lanes of Route 51 are closed between Old Route 51 and Blue Top Road according to emergency management officials.

Emergency responders from Perry Township, Perryopolis, and state police are on the scene.

County officials reported that the collision occurred at approximately 5:23 a.m.
