Blood drive set
The Carmichaels Area Senior High School chapter of the National Honor Society will hold an American Red Cross community blood drive from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 12 in the high school gymnasium. Laurel Highlands School District will hold parent-teacher conferences for students in all grades from 8-11:30 a.m. Nov. 27, and from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Dec. 3.
Conferences for middle school and high school students will be available by open house at each school building. All teachers will be available to meet with parents.
Conferences for elementary school students will be scheduled by appointment by classroom teachers; the length of each conference will be 10 minutes. Music, physical education and Title I reading and math improvement teachers will be available to meet with parents.
There will be no school for students on these days.
