Seton Hill to present concert
GREENSBURG – The Seton Hill College Division of Visual and Performing Arts will present the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds a “Pops Concert” on Saturday, April 27, at 8 p.m. in Cecilian Hall on campus. The concert will feature the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds Jazz Ensemble, the Seton Hill College Music Program Youth Honors Band and the Westmoreland Symphonic Winds.
Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Kathleen M. Campbell, associate professor of music, will serve as the music director and conductor, and Theodore A. DiSanti, assistant professor of music, will serve as the assistant conductor and jazz director.
The WSW Jazz Ensemble will play “Cruisin for a Bluesin” by Andy Weiner; “One O’clock Jump” by Count Basie; “The Queen Bee” by Sammy Nestico; “Children of Sanchez” by Chuck Mangione; and “Basically Blues” by Phil Wilson.
