Carmichaels Senior Center will sponsor a dance from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. today. Music will be provided by the Best of Times, which will play the big band sound. The public is invited. Admission is $5 per person.

Hoe-down square dancing, slow dancing, polkas, waltzing, line dancing & clogging will be offered from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Blacksville Senior Center in Blacksville, W.Va. The donation is $4 per person, and children age 12 and under are admitted free. Music and figure calling will be provided by the Dave Dahl Orchestra.
Train Show & Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the New Stanton Fire Hall. All scales of trains will be featured as well as the operating G-scale layout. Train rides are available at $5 per person. Admission is $2 for adults. Children under 12 are admitted free with a paid adult. The tourist train will operate from the site of the Stanton Mill under the bridge on South Center Avenue, which is four blocks from the fire hall near Steinmeyer Floral. All proceeds benefit the Westmoreland Railroad Heritage Society Inc., which is a non-profit organization. For information, contact Duane Steinmeyer at 724-925-3737.
The Daffodil and Hosta Society of Western Pennsylvania announced that the Western Pennsylvania Daffodil Show 2002 will be held on Saturday at the Gallerie Mall, 1500 Washington Road, Mount Lebanon. Entries will be accepted from 8 to 10 p.m. Friday and 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday . The show will be open free to the public.
All entries may be viewed from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Galleria Mall in Mount Lebanon. The public is invited to attend. For more information, contact Linda Herhold at 724-941-8101.
