Billed as “Pittsburgh’s complete oldies show band,” Johnny Angel and the Halos perform music of the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s. The band performs parodies of the Blues Brothers, The King, Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall-of-Famers and much more. They trace the street corner, a cappella scene, the great dance crazes, and the familiar sing-along songs that everyone over age 30 will remember.

Johnny Angel and the Halos have performed with many well-known musical groups of that era. They’ve worked with rock ‘n roll legends like Jerry Lee Lewis, The Beach Boys, Chubby Checker and Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons; popular soul groups such as The Four Tops, The Temptations, James Brown and Ben E. King; doo-wop musicians like The Drifters, The Marcels and Jimmy Beaumont and the Skyliners; and famous pop bands like Sha Na Na, The Mamas & The Papas, Three Dog Night, Jan & Dean and Blood Sweat & Tears.
